The selection is, admittedly, not representative of the current class, race, and gender diversity of Telluride associates. We’re selecting from a number of accounts that have been printed in the Newsletter over many decades, and dynamics of exclusion and bias that shaped admission to and ascent in Telluride programs over the years are replicated by the Newsletter as a publication. As current editor, I can say that we own and recognize that history and are making efforts to produce a more representative publication.
